TransGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE 2015
MARCH/YOUTH SPEAK OUT & VIGIL
Join In Our Own Voices, Capital Area Against Mass Incarceration, Pride Center of the Capital Region and the Empire State Pride Agenda in honoring Trans lives and the resiliance and power within our communities.
The march is scheduled for 5pm, Friday, November 20th. The meeting location will be at the In Our Own Voices office, 245 Lark Street. We will walk to the City Hall, hold space for community voices, and then youth (and allies) can walk to the Pride Center for the Youth Speak Out.

In preparation for the march we invite you to join us for a sign-making party, Tuesday, November 10th, 5pm-6pm.

✨TDOR YOUTH SPEAK OUT & VIGIL✨
Come out to the Pride Center (332 Hudson Avenue, Albany) and join LGBTQA youth and their allies as we remember and celebrate the lives of trans* and gender non-conforming people that we have lost this past year.
There will be a vigil, followed by a youth speak out/open mic. All are welcome to attend. Priority is given to youth community members to speak/share.
THIS IS A SAFE SPACE.
SUBSTANCE & ALCOHOL FREE EVENT.

The event will be held on the First (Main floor) of the Pride Center. There is a set of 7 steps into the building with hand rails on both sides.There is no wheelchair lift on this level. If you require assistance, please connect with a staff member prior to the event at 462-6138.

Mentions of violence against trans and gender non-conforming people, suicide, and self-harm. Support will be available.

2nd Tuesday: T-Talk Youth Group, 18 and under (6-8pm)
3rd Tuesday: Trans Pride Meet & Greet, 18+ (7-9pm)
4th Tuesday: T-Talk Youth Group, 18 and under (6-8pm)
